One car car that have proven its long term reliability is the Toyota Corolla, but for some it may look a bit bland, the Corolla XSE hatchback might solve that concern. Equipped with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine with iMT (Intelligent manual transmission) the XSE produces 168 hp with 155 lb.-ft. of torque, not bad at all!

Where the Corolla XSE really shines is in the design department, it looks modern and exciting from every angle, something young buyers will really appreciate. Inside the story is a bit different, yes it has the tablet display everybody sim to enjoy, yes it has nice stitching, but it feels uninspired and designed by committee.

A great advantage of a hatchback is the rear cargo space, 17.8 cu.-ft. of glorious abundant room to haul most everything needed for a normal civilian, nice! A decent JBL sound system with GPS, Apple Car Play and Sirius XM Radio included is great to have, but it lacks that «Je ne sais quoi» found in very similar cars.

The Corolla XSE is a solid offering, it has style, is roomy, a peppy engine and legendary Toyota longevity, it fulfills most everybody’s needs, just look around before buying it.
